Sunday 15th 19:30: Welcome Reception at the University of Corunna Headquarters

The Welcome Reception will take place on September 15th at the University of Corunna Headquarters (Rector's Office)

The Maestranza Building was originally an armoury from the Spanish Army erected in 1774. After the foundation of the University was refurbished and nowadays hosts the Rector's Offices.

The building offers great views of the Atlantic Ocean from its Government Hall.

Tuesday 17th 15:00:  Visit to Santiago de Compostela


Santiago de Compostela  is the capital of the autonomous community of Galicia, the city has its origin in the shrine of Saint James the Great, now the city's cathedral, as destination of the Way of St. James, a leading Catholic pilgrimage route originated in the 9th century:
In 1985 the city's Old Town was designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site. During the guided tour the Cathedral, the museum and the famous surroundings will be visited.

Wednesday 18th 21:00: Gala dinner at the Domus Restaurant

The Gala dinner will take place on September 18th at the Restaurant of the Domus Interactive Museum. The museum built in the seafront of the Orzan beach was designed by the Japanese architect Arata Isozaki and has more than 200 interactive modules for enjoy and think about the characteristics of the Human race.
